I’m amazed to have found a restaurant like Kinjo in Tampa! It’s so refreshing to experience a place with such a thoughtful concept and genuinely creative dishes. Everything was wonderful, starting with the staff and the ambiance. The space is small, inviting, beautifully decorated, and has the perfect noise level for a relaxed dinner. And of course, the food was delicious. We ordered the crostini to share as an antipasti, followed by two primi: the cappelletti (which I was so excited to try that I completely forgot to take a picture lol) and the risotto. Both were equally delicious and beautifully executed. I left the restaurant feeling genuinely happy and excited to have discovered this place. Kinjo is definitely a special addition to Tampa’s dining scene, and I can’t wait to go back!

Kinjo, you guys were absolutely fantastic. The plates, the presentation, and the service, phenomenal. Though I guess I shouldn't be surprised, knowing that Chef Eric and his team responsible for Koya are also behind Kinjo. 10/10. My brother and I feel very blessed to have experienced a wonderful meal here, and we appreciate the teams at both Kinjo and Koya coming by, to share their passions. I'll be looking forward to bringing my spouse/rest of my family, so they can also share in an excellent experience.

I came here with my boyfriend for our anniversary. We had Byron as our server and he was very knowledgeable about the history of the chefs, the food concept, and provided excellent recommendations. Considering this was our first time here and on a special occasion, we appreciated the complimentary drinks and the card signed by staff. :) The restaurant itself was cozy and intimate. We loved the option to sit at the chefs table or a regular dining table. We ordered the bread service, wagyu carpaccio, the spicy pappardelle pasta, and the Japanese curry bolognese. The dishes were presented and explained beautifully. You could really taste each ingredient listed for each menu item. The price was worth it for a special occasion and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for making our night special!

Kinjo is not just a restaurant, but a true experience. As soon as you walk in, the front of the house staff are warm and inviting which immediately sets the tone and puts you at ease. The restaurant itself is a very intimate feel which in my opinion is what makes it feel special and personal. Anywhere you sit will be great, however, I highly recommend sitting at the chef’s counter as it truly makes your dining experience feel that much more special. You can see how much intention was put into every dish from the starters to dessert. Every meal feels especially crafted for you and the intention behind the favor profile of each bite results in a transcendent dining experience. I truly enjoyed chef Jada and chef Javier taking the time to explain the dish to me, you can truly see their passion on each dish. It truly feels like you’re dining with friends. While the dishes are certainly upscale and elevated, the experience feels intimate and personal making each course better than the last. If I had to say my favorite dish; the crab pasta literally brought a tear to my eye, that’s how fantastic it is. Took my wife here for our anniversary and honestly it’s one of those meals you talk about for months. Dish after dish, we just kept looking at each other like — how did we not know about this place? Chef Jada has a real gift for putting flavors together that you didn’t know you were missing until they hit your palate. It’s hard to explain without just telling someone to go experience it. The chef’s counter is where you want to be, it’s intimate, it feels personal, and you leave feeling like you actually got invited into something special, not just fed. If you’re anywhere near Tampa and you care about food, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. Your taste buds won’t be the same after.
